Sal_litio_planta_Mayoral_120The new plant is located at an altitude of more than 3900 metres. The design is 100% Argentine. It is hoped that 1200 million pesos will be invested. The National Mining Secretary, Jorge Mayoral, along with the Governor of Salta Province, today led the opening of a new lithium carbonate processing plant in Salar del Rincón.

Beder_Herrera4_micrfonos_120Last Tuesday, within the Chamical area, the opening of a Technical College took place. A group of anti-mining assembly members tried to demonstrate at this event but were stopped by security forces, causing a brawl. After much discussion they were allowed to stay but had to congregate at a great distance from where Governor Luis Beder Herrera stood. At the end of the official opening, the provincial governor quickly makes his exit through the back door of the building.

Union leaders and professionals of San Juan have confirmed this. Bufano was involved in the kidnapping and dissapareance of writer Haroldo Conti.
